How would you like to do it? the legit way or a sneaky way?

Also why do you want higher PR ?

To sell the domain afterwards or simply to make gaining links easier to come by?

Hi sara, welcome to the forum.

Here's my $1500 lecture.  Abbreviated form.

PR is a plaything from the devious minds of twisted Google engineers.  At least the PR that we can see is.

The real page rank that determines where our pages will be displayed in the serp is invisible.

Unless you are trying to up the asking price for a domain (as the boss asked above), you are wasting brain power.  Concentrate on getting backlinks and visitors.

The more visitors, the more backlinks.  The more backlinks the more visitors.

(I'd show you the math equation but my keyboard doesn't have enough keys.)   24

It's funny to me that no matter what forum you are in, the conversation always seems to turn to SEO.

Welcome Sarah!

And to polish of Dink, the more backlinks, mathematically the higher the PR (PageRank as Google defines it is a pure mathematical formula with no bias, unlike the rumored "trust rank") - if that's really what you're after. Have you been told by someone that high-PR equals traffic? Because in my experience, THAT's what people really want...
