The site looks really good. The layout is clean and easy to follow

As far as promoting the site, you are on the right track by having the blog. Keep it updated and try to add new content periodically. You may also want to open blog accounts at some other places like wordpress.com, typad.com, blogger, etc and link to your blog from each of those places. That can help create inbound links coming from different locations. Try to use unique content at each place.

Also, write some articles and submit to some article directories and make sure that you reference you site in the author box. Once again, more links back to your site.

Look into some places on the Internet like hubpages and squidoo where you can open up thematic pages that are quick and easy to create. You could create a cigar lens and hub.

Go on to Yahoo Answers and see if people have questions about cigars or other related things and answer their questions.

This is just a kickstart to get you started promoting that site.

Good luck!

I would say that Clickbank is a good place to get started and to get your feet wet. Furthermore, it is also good when later on you have a whole portfolio of things you are promoting. They have some good things that will fit in with most niches.

However, I would work towards using them as a way to round out what you offer; I would not use them as a sole source of income. The reason I say this is because they have a high rate of returns.  Since they are offering digital products and promote the 100% guarantee, you get alot of people who will buy a product, read it and then ask for a refund. I would estimate it to be close to 30% on some offers.

This is something you will have to do with most of the big affiliate networks if you are in the U.S. In fact, I would maybe be a little concerned if they didn't ask for it.
