1  Introducing... / Affiliate program introductions / How To Easily Bag Commissions For Affiliate Marketing Services? on: June 17, 2008, 11:33:34 PM
The 'easy-to-get-paid' factor is so much glued to the affiliate marketing services that anybody wants to join affiliate marketing industry. Free of cost joining, easy access to resources, quick responses from customers, varied industries to work for, scope for earning income from multiple streams and various commission structures to opt for according to marketing skills are some the advantages that made affiliate marketing ubiquitously popular. After doing some researches, I came across two main categories of commission structures a marketer can be paid for his/her affiliate marketing services.  Pay per click wherein I can be paid for each click I generate for visiting site, taking membership or buying goods. And there is pay per performance wherein I can be paid hugely for every sales referral. So, please suggest me which commission model should opt for to earn money with affiliate marketing services?

2  Introducing... / Affiliate program introductions / An Ideal Situation in Affiliate Marketing on: June 11, 2008, 01:49:42 AM
The ideal situation in affiliate marketing would be something like a given number of active affiliates effectively promoting an advertiser and generating more or less the same money for themselves. That is an ideal case and indeed far from reality. We have seen a lot of affiliates who are just inactive and contribute very little. At the same time we have affiliates making thousands of dollars in a month. Can we devise some model that will ensure that affiliates of a particular advertiser are somewhat equally effective?

3  Affiliate Talk / Affiliate Announcements / Equal Value for All Affiliates on: June 06, 2008, 01:44:44 AM
There are lot of people who are engaged in different online activities to make money on the Internet. As Internet has global reach and access, geographical location does not make any difference. The job and the tasks are often simplified, but when it comes to payments, there is much doubt about the transactions and the reimbursements. Currencies vary from country to country and the rates are more or less same for everyone. This makes some people earn more as the value for currency varies. Say for example a data operator who works from South Asia makes more money than the one based in UK or US. Shouldn't the earnings be differential so that everybody gets an equal value for the work?
4  Affiliate Talk / Other Ad Networks / Background Check of Affiliate Marketing Agencies on: June 04, 2008, 12:04:40 AM
Online affiliate marketing was first discovered and implemented by site owners of online gaming and adult content. They had this singular objective of promoting their sites on other sites and sop up the traffic to their own site. Today, affiliate marketing services have become popular and are easily provided by web masters. Many web site owners and advertisers claim to be the best in the industry. But there is no credible proof of verifying whether the site owner or the advertiser are really what they project. Does anyone have an idea of verifying the claims made by site owners or advertisers? If anyone happens to put up a false show, how can we stop him?
5  Introducing... / Affiliate program introductions / Best Affiliate Program on: May 30, 2008, 02:05:47 AM
People often talk about best affiliate program, great commissions and the benefits for the publishers. But why is that affiliates who are successful never share it themselves. Are they afraid that more participation by web site owners will lead to competition and impede their interests. Mostly, I have found people talking about someone else's performance. I have hardly find any affiliate who said, okay, this is my site and there are the ads and in the last month I made these many bucks by selling the space. If such information would be shared by the affiliates, we will all be profiting. Online domain is vast and there is plenty for everyone of us.

Some people may not agree to my proposition, but by limiting ourselves and by hiding in the shells, we are never supposed to go beyond a certain point. We can make things work for all of us.
6  Introducing... / Affiliate program introductions / Travel affiliate programs on: May 27, 2008, 11:49:07 PM
Online shopping has become so famous that for every second need people are turning towards Internet. Be it financial plan, insurance, wealth management, consumer product shopping or traveling, to name a few.

Traveling is a moment worth cherish and it is becoming easier and easier to choose various travel options. The credit for this kind of convenience goes to various travel affiliate programs. You can search for famous tourist destinations and book hotels also. You can compare the prices of different hotels on the same location.

Majority of the travel affiliate programs promise the lowest prices for hotels and resorts. Sometimes it is surprising. How they manage it?
7  Introducing... / Affiliate program introductions / Network affiliate on: May 26, 2008, 12:17:15 AM
Internet marketing has become popular and the cause of its popularity is its various revenue generating options. Network affiliate is one such option which is used by the advertisers and publishers for making money online these days.

Also, it has been promoted that joining a network affiliate gives advertisers access to hundreds of merchants offering CPA commissions and incentives for promoting their products and services. Now, when choosing a network, most of the affiliates have two main concerns

1. Is that network available in odd office hours?
2.Do they take an ethical and firm stand to protect the revenues for affiliates and merchants?

It has been observed that on both issues paid on results is successful. So, shall we make them an important part of any successful Internet marketing strategy.
8  Introducing... / Affiliate program introductions / Hybrid Affiliate Marketing Programs on: May 13, 2008, 12:47:03 AM
I have been wondering if there are any hybrid affiliate programs that pays for advertising, clicks, lead and sales, simultaneously. The reason not to go for advertising program is that they pay too little. The merchant be generating sales and leads for which we are never paid. Even affiliate programs do not pay for all kinds of resources we provide. Consider the profits of the advertiser who pay a few cents and sells products worth hundreds of bucks.

I would like to know if there is any network or service provider that gives the true value to our resources. By placing contextual advertisements and links we are helping the merchants to sell. I would suggest that there must be commissions fixed for impressions, for clicks and sales. The package must reflect that the promised profit is actually shared. It might happen that a visitor sees a banner on my site and later on buy the product from somewhere else. Though I have rendered the initial services, but that is never counted.
9  Affiliate Talk / Other Ad Networks / Which is the Ideal Affiliate Network? on: May 02, 2008, 02:50:56 AM
There are large number of affiliate networks and web site owners are not very sure as which one to go for. I have read a number of blog post and articles in ezines about affiliate marketing and the best networks. Many of them forewarn about joining affiliate networks without proper background checks. Now, if it is possible I am not able to figure it out.

Affiliate networks might be circulating all information about themselves. The testimonials are rarely presented and there are few reviews about the services. Either the affiliates, who are making good money, do not want to share the information, being afraid that it might harm their own interests or there may not be anyone interested in doing it at all. May be super affiliates know a thing about it. But I have not found a single account that might help in making a decision.
10  Introducing... / Affiliate program introductions / Is sub affiliates concept applicable for all affiliate programs? on: May 01, 2008, 04:15:56 AM
There are many multi-tier programs that reimburse the commissions on referrals. But, if someone persuades others to join for the programs without being an affiliate himself, is it allowed by the merchants and networks. Say, I know some publishers and make them join a particular network or program. I will promise a lower commission than provided by the program and have my share. This way I will act as negotiator. The principal amount will be received by me and I will distribute a part of it to the affiliate.

I read about sub affiliates and may be some networks or merchants allow it. But, I am not sure if its true and if there really are any such programs. There is one more thing I want to know. Do affiliate networks or merchants have projects for intermediary services?

11  Introducing... / Affiliate program introductions / Are Affiliate Marketing Services Helpful for New Websites? on: April 24, 2008, 02:47:40 AM
I have been reading about affiliate marketing services and different types of programs. The service providers mostly offer  vague information on how a start up or beginner can take up an ideal role. Previously, I read an article on paid promotions that made it clear how traffic and promotions can be had hastened with sponsored linking and paid promotions.

The question is whether a web site owner, who has been going for paid promotions can get good benefits from joining an affiliate marketing group. There were few service providers I checked who had   fixed some criteria for the site owners. One of the criteria was the minimum number of visitors on a web site. I am a little confused because there is no way to know, in some cases, whether the site was refused because of these reasons only?
12  Introducing... / Affiliate program introductions / Affiliate Marketing Program and Click Frauds on: April 23, 2008, 03:47:25 AM
Merchants have been reported as unnecessarily paying for affiliates due to the misuse of the terms and conditions that are not followed by the affiliates. I have read a number of accounts when affiliates have been cheating the advertiser by taking help from the fraudsters. I also read somewhere that there are networks who click on one another's advertisements and links and dupe the advertiser. This might be a hoax, but it is quite possible.

Affiliate marketing programs and services provided by networks does not illustrate on such acts and if there is any kind of security we get against such acts. I have read about some tracking softwares and have little knowledge about Cookies also. But I think that is too little to convince an advertiser to go for an affiliate program.
