you asked...

If I had that site that is what I would be testing. You have to think outside the box a couple of banners when thats the only traffic your getting isn't going to make you much money imo.

I would do hosting, and then attached to each script add a short list of "compatible" hosting providers:

CAUTION! YOUR CURRENT HOSTING PROVIDER
MAY NOT BE COMPATIBLE WITH THIS SCRIPT

The following hosts are ScriptCopy Certified Hosting Providers* for this script:

Hosting Provider A - Hosting Package Name - Current Web Hosting Rating - 5 stars - Monthly Price

Hosting Provider B - Hosting Package Name - Current Web Hosting Rating - 5 stars - Monthly Price

Hosting Provider C - Hosting Package Name - Current Web Hosting Rating - 5 stars - Monthly Price

*We have checked with these hosting providers to make sure they will be compatible and will help
you with any issues that may arise. There is nothing worse than buying a script and then you
need to change hosting.

After that I would play with maybe picking 2-3 hosts per script and then creating a significant price difference in the three, the result of this tends to be two-fold, the people looking for a deal will like feeling that they are getting a deal, and then you have the "you get what you pay for crowd" and for this you make sure you pick a high quality more expensive host that will make a good conversion model for that type of buyer too.

The site is pretty cool btw, good work.

I like LP's with Adwords there really isn't any other option in crowded verticals imo ( I do feel people tend to overstress the value of the LP and not enough the domain itself ), but when new stuff hits the networks I just go straight to merchant direct link or using a domain+redirect to test conversions and see if its worth my time to build an LP.

Don't waste time on LPs if you don't know if it will convert...

Some will say you'll get raped by google if you go direct to merchant on adwords, I say why are you testing in Adwords then?

I will put it all into one reason for 99% of people who will ever try it:

Reason 1:

You bought an Ebook and tried it once with some crap ClickBank product, failed and then moved onto the next moneymaking idea you paid $97 bucks for.

Thanks for making this available to us. Can anybody give further insight into what controls the pricing of these key words?

How much people are willing to pay for the top spot.
Sometimes it's just idiots playing my balls are bigger but a lot of times the conversions are there and people are willing to have lower ROI's because the volume makes it worth it, other times it's the merchant or people running white labels.

Wanted to make an addendum, the actual person that really dictates the amount is the person in second place if all things being equal ( i.e. similair CTR and QS ) because whatever their top bid is first place will pay more, even though this isn't the science it used to be, CTR and QS counts for about 90% of that equation, it is possible to be in first paying less than the guy in second. But if that is the case thats because some idiot is managing the adwords campaign.

-Cheers guys.

Nice job having a good template to break your campaigns out from,
Here's my 2 cents.

I'm going to say this from my experience and the things I've tested over the past year.

I have yet to have something convert better with multiple conversion paths on the landing page than with a single one, ever.

Now the thing to do is to choose a path that is best suited for the type of searcher:

Information Seeker: Opt-in/Squeeze>>>Free Report>>>Newsletter Pushing Multiple topic/keyword-related offers...

Review Seeker/Tire Kicker: Review Site style LP with 3-5 offers in the same vertical

Buyer/Targeted Searcher: Single Conversion Pre-Sell or Direct Link/ Iframed Lander.

This setup is a really cool way to setup a WPCMS:
  /articles/five-wordpress-cms-enabling-plugins
And then add in WPCloner for fast instalations once you have figured out exactly how you want your base setup to be.

Then I decided to check out OpenSourceCMS since I hadn't checked it out in a bit and saw this sexy little cms that is pretty slick and simple for just simple affiliate stuff:
