Help in selling

I'm not sure if topic fits to this forum, but I'll try.
I'm a siftware developer working for a company in the UK. I'm planning to start my own business - writing software and content management systems for companies. The problem is, that working full time, I don't have time to meet customers, answer phone during my work hours. So I was thinking if affiliate can be solution to my problem - I'm creating some products, and somebody else is selling it, for some percent of income. What do you think? Do you have any ideas about this type of business?

I would suggest starting with elance or rentacoder, then you can get used to doing the work you choose and win.

I would also use   for your time keeping and invoicing - its a life saver imo

Problem is that you will be working full time, but your earnings will be completely
dependent on the selling efforts of others who don't really give a shit if you live
or die.
