Anyone here been banned from CJ for no reason ?


They have closed two of my accounts for no reason now (not for inaction either before you take the piss )

I haven't heard about anyone being banned from CJ before. I've heard about warnings because people was redirecting direct to the merchant and pinged their sites like crazy and all the bots went to the merchant and screwed their network stats up.

So you didn't get any mail or anything? They just closed your account?

Been booted from individual merchants, but not the network as a whole...

In fact I just checked and one of those merchants seems to have re-instated me after booting me several months ago!

Do you create separate accounts with completely different details?

I have been thinking about making some "whiter" sites for my merchants who are converting and was wondering about creating a second account for that or not.

Take this for what it's worth.  Generally, if it's just the merchant
booting you, you'll still get your cash from CJ.  That's a CJ ruling.

If,however, CJ is the one doing the booting, it's as the boss said.

I asked cuz I have around 5k locked from a merchant but they started bitching about my traffic, I want to tell them to go fish but I still want my money from them

So, write a letter to the aff manager for that merchant.  Say something like "I don't understand why you're bitching about my traffic.  I don't do anything illegal, and I bring you searchers who want your product.  As a matter of fact, I was going to ask you to raise my commission rate.  If I can bring you that much in sales, then just watch as I really get going.  However, if you don't like the sales that I drive for you, I'll find someone who does value the profits I can generate.  Sincerely yours....HotShotAffiliate"
