CJ W9 Tax form really needed?

Ive heard some people say that you dont really need it at 1st , but im not so sure. Has anyone got paid a 1st payment with out submitting it 'W9 form'. ?

Currently they owe me like 80$ Im not sure how their pay schedule is , is it at the end of the month?

And i wonder if ill get a check with out sending my W9 form in yet.

Ill submitt one soon but itll be nice if i can get paid this go around when ever it is.

p.s. I find their website hard to navigate and get answers from so any advice for a cj noobie is apreciated thanks

How to send Commission junction a W9 Form By kewlchat.
1; I went to http://www.irs.gov/formspubs/lists/0,,id=97817,00.html and downloaded the w9 form english version.
2; I went to http://www.pdfescape.com/pdf/open/ and opend it and used that to put my name and informations. Its basicly an alt. to adobe (dont ask)
3; I went to http://faxzero.com/ and used their "free fax service" to sent the edited pdf file along with my cj account number and my name to cj this is their fax number 8188795284 .
4; I got parinoid that the fax mabye did not go through with the free service so i forked out 1.99 paypal and sent it again with the faxzero premium service

This is something you will have to do with most of the big affiliate networks if you are in the U.S. In fact, I would maybe be a little concerned if they didn't ask for it.
