Finance and Credit Cards

Lets face it one of the most competitive markets around but there must still be some untapped niches in this whole market

Whats peoples thoughts?

I've heard the credit cards and debit cards that are preloaded are worth considering.

Got to get into this more. It was semi easy to get some specific phrases for branded cards. I have let mine slip, so the god dam aff links donnt work. On my list again :-)

Finance is hard though, with people paying £12 per click for things like life insurance, you know it aint gonna be easy.

finance, adult, rx... not the easiest markets.
I'd guess finance might be the most difficult of all.

I don't think its the product that serves up the niches, but the target audience.

You might take a credit card program, but try and market it to a certain group or market.

looking at the UK & US there is a big focus on 'affinity' cards - there is mileage in these finding a way to promote to the target audiences - i.e. sport, charity, professionals

It can be quite easy to piggy back on TV advertising slogans etc - not many optimise for those phrases, but they get searches.

Thats something i have done for a long time, i once got a name from a uk advert where they mentioned a made up domain like "yeah but at least we arent somemadeupdomain.com"

i saw it for the first time then checked and it hadnt been registered (well one spelling had and went to the parent company hompage but the way i spelt it didnt) and that provided a steady stream of targetted traffic for a few months...
